Regarding the press release “National Army Maneuver with Troop, the Navy Went to the Waters of Taiping Island for Firing Practice,” the Ministry of National Defense said today (25th), the content of the release is speculation in majority. The navy is performing their annual plan of training and shipping mission; the related annual plan for ground shooting plan on the Taiping Island has been performed by the Coast Guard Administration; we would like to state that there will be no subsequent shooting plans for the Navy. Also, the carrier-based helicopter takes off and land training requires the airspace control, instead of shooting the sting missile.
In addition, the tenth legion of the land army has issued the tender announcement for the preparation of war preparedness month in the following year.
Ministry of National Defense emphasized that the National Army will continue to carry out the war training missions according to the annual plan to ensure the national safety and the worry-free status of the citizens for improving the military capability and joining hands for the duty of war training.
